Live on campus

UCalgary has a variety of on-campus housing options for you to live in while you study with us. High school applicants who apply for residence by May 1 are guaranteed a home on campus for two years. You can apply for residence before you receive an offer of admission.

English Preparation Program

All students at UCalgary must meet our English Language Proficiency requirements. If you need help improving your English proficiency prior to applying to UCalgary, the Academic Communication Certificate (ACC) is the program for you! If you apply for undergraduate admission and complete the ACC through UCalgary Continuing Education by the end of the summer term in the year of application, you could be considered for conditional admission to a degree program.
